Virginian Pilot June 24, 1903

MASON - At her residence, 276 Chapel Street, Tuesday, June the 23rd, at 8:30 
o'clock p.m., MATTIE E., beloved wife of Thomas H. Mason, aged 48 years.
The funeral will take place TOMORROW (Thursday) AFTERNOON, June 25th, 1903 
at 3:30 o'clock p.m., from the residence.  Friends and acquaintances 
respectfully invited to attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Mattie E. Mason was conducted yesterday from the 
residence, 276 Chapel Street, by Rev. J.K. Jolliff.  The interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery and the following gentlemen acted as pallbearers:  Messrs. 
G.W. Stelling, H.L. Calhoun, C.N. Mayo, W.J. Cooper, Lewis Parker and A. 
Jones.
