Norfolk Journal and Guide, November 3, 1978
Portsmouth - Mrs. Georgia Mason of 830 Portsmouth Blvd., the widow of James Mason 
and a native of Norfolk County, died October 24 in a hospital.

She worked for Lafayette Park in Norfolk 25 years and retired.

Survivors include a foster daughter, Mrs. Shirley M. Whitehurst of Portsmouth; and 
five grandchildren.

A funeral will be held in the chapel October 27 by the Rev. J. L. Faulk. Burial 
will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home had charge.
