Mason of the 6300 block of Wellington St., a retired seamstress, died Feb. 10, 1993, in a local hospital. Mrs. Mason was born in Harrellsville, N.C. She was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception, The Women's Club, former director of the Catholic Youth Organization and member of Pokena Bugs Club. Survivors include her husband, Glen Mason Sr.; three daughters, Martha Forbes of Washington, D.C., Annie Mason of Vienna, Va., and Patsy Chavis of Norfolk; two sons, Glen Mason Jr. of Norfolk and Sgt. Reginald Mason of Arlington, Va.; two sisters, Annie Williams of Sunbury, N.C., and Barbara Gary of Norfolk; two brothers, Joseph Sharp and William Sharp, both of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Elijah Sharp. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at noon Saturday in The Basilica of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family at the residence. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
