The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday Feb. 4, 1944
Mrs. Cora Bell Mason, 71, wife of Fred Lee Mason, died at the residence, 735 
Roswell avenue, Thursday at 11:20 p.m. Besides her husband she is survived by a 
son, William B. White; a daughter, Mrs. A.L. Hines; a sister, Mrs. E.L. Cooke, 
and a brother, A.A. Murden, all of Norfolk. Mrs. Mason was a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 
2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
