Norfolk - Mrs. Devetta Mason of 826 Marshall avenue died in a hospital after a
long illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of Ernest Mason and a daughter of the late
Thomas and Mrs. Lizzie Wilson.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute street, its Dorcas Sunday school
class and Do All We Can Club, and St. Thomas Eastern Star Chapter.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Mason Johnson of
Norfolk, and a grandchild.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
