Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday October 27, 1945

Catherine Elizabeth Massey, 32, of 1417 Laura Street, South Norfolk, died at a 
local hospital yesterday at 7:30 a.m. after an illness of some months.
A daughter of the late John and Nora Cleary Massey, she was born in Portsmouth 
and lived in this section all her life. She was a member of the Park Avenue 
Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Marian Louise Oseborn and two sisters, Mrs. G.H. 
Freeman and Mrs. W.M. Wolf, all of South Norfolk and a brother, H.E. Massey, of 
Portlock.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson Streets, 
South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 1 p.m. 
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
