Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 12, 1924

Mary Josephine Massey, aged four years, four months and four days, died at 7:30 
o'clock last night at the home of her parents, G. Hubard and Mrs. Josephine 
Hawkins Massey, in Poplar Avenue, Berkley, after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence. 
Services will be conducted by Rev. W.B. Lee, Jr., of St. Bride's Episcopal Church, 
assisted by Rev. D.H Dimmock of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Interment will be private.
