Mr. Carol "Claude" Mastracco died March 26, 1997.

Born in Norfolk on Sept. 11, 1912, he was Catholic and a member of the Loyal Order 
of the Moose, Azalea Garden Lodge (NU)39. He retired as a manager of Giant Open 
Air Market. He was predeceased by his father, Angelo Mastracco, and his mother, 
Teresa Ricciotti Mastracco; and a brother, Vincent J. Mastracco Sr.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Mastracco Wilder, of Norfolk; three nephews, 
Joseph Wilder of Virginia Beach, Al Wilder Jr. of Virginia Beach, Vincent J. 
Mastracco Jr. of Norfolk; and a niece, Terri Mastracco Vita of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery, Granby and Church streets, by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. The family will 
receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. 
today.
