The Norfolk Landmark March 12,1898

Little Elsie Wheadon, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mathews, was buried 
yesterday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by the Rev. Frank Hall 
from the residence, in North Portsmouth. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Berkley.

The funeral of little Elsie Mathews, whose death was mentioned yesterday 
morning, was conducted from the residence of her parents, at Port Norfolk, 
yesterday afternoon.  The remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery, in 
Berkley.
