Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 26, 1992

Paul W. Matthews of the 1400 block of Shank St., a custodian, died May 21, 
1992.
Mr. Matthews was born in Norfolk and was employed with the City of Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Ryan Eggleston; his parents, Ophelia Matthews and 
Joseph Matthews; five sisters, Josie Matthews, Adraine Matthews, Tawanda 
Matthews, Patricia Matthews and Sharon Matthews; three brothers, Bryan 
Matthews, Robert Matthews and Antonio Matthews; a maternal grandmother, 
Willie Mae Scott; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Matthews, 
all of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Metropolitan Funeral 
Service by the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. 
Family and friends will assemble at 11:30 a.m. at 1409 Shank St. for the 
procession.
