Virginian Pilot February 27, 1990

Wilhelmenia Matthews, of the 300 block of W. 35th St., died Feb. 24, 1990, in a 
hospital.
Miss Matthews was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include three daughters, the Rev. Sherella Matthews, Tyra Matthews and 
Earlisa Matthews and a son, Earlton Matthews, all of Norfolk; her mother, 
Dorothy Matthews of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Dorothy Etheridge of Norfolk; and 
two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Sherella Matthews.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Family and 
friends will assemble at 12:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
