Virginian Pilot April 7, 1990

Elizabeth Davis Maurer, a native of Norfolk, died April 5, 1990, in a Gloucester 
nursing home.
Mrs. Maurer had retired from Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. She was the widow of 
George W. Maurer and a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Richmond. She 
was a graduate of Hollins College, Roanoke.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen M. Treadwell of Mathews, and three 
grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. R. Clement Dickey. Memorial donations may be made to the 
Francis Sanders Good Neighbor Fund, c/o Sanders Nursing Home, Gloucester, Va. 
23061. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
