 Norfolk Virginian Friday October 30,1896
Death of Mrs. Mayer

Augusta Noble, wife of Mr. Eugene Mayer, died yesterday morning at the 
residence of her husband, No. 80 College Place, aged 29 years. Deceased had 
been sick for about two months. She leaves several children. The funeral will 
take place from the residence at 4 p.m. today, and the remains will be interred 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
