Maynard, died in a hospital Tuesday at 12:25 p.m. A native of Nansemond County, she lived here 13 years with a daughter, Mrs. Sam H. Goffigon of 9437 Wells Parkway. She was a member of Broad Street Methodist Church, Portsmouth, and Tidal Wave Easter Star Chapter 9. Besides Mrs. Goffigon, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Russell A. Morrison of Norfolk; a son, Elmer L. Jones of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mrs. W. Paul Stanley of Hartford, Ala. and Mrs. R.D. Paul of Chatham, N.J.; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Percy W. White of Broad Street Methodist Church and the Rev. Lee O. Mortzfeldt of Miles Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
