Robert Mayo - Funeral services were held recently for Mr. Mayo, 1010 E Liberty 
street, at St. Mark Christian Church, with the pastor Rev. David Butts, 
officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Mayo is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vergie Mayo;  three daughters, Misses 
Annie Mae Mayo, Eva Mayo, and Mrs. Elnora Boone;  three sons, Messrs Harvey, 
Joseph and Robert Mayo, Jr.;  two sisters, Mrs. Millie Mayo and Mrs. Frances 
Daniels;  two brothers, Lucius and Arthur Mayo, his mother, Mrs. Ella Mayo;  
five grandchildren, one great grandchild;  three stepdaughters.
