Virginian-Pilot  April 5, 1967
NORFOLK - John J. Mazzara, 84, of 409 W. 14th St., a retired barber, died 
Tuesday in a hospital.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Ermelinda D’Amora Mazzara and a son of 
Gennaro and Mrs. Francesca Mazzara.
A native of Naples, Italy, he lived here 50 years.
Surviving is a daughter, Miss Marie Mazzara of Norfolk.
The Office of the Dead will be conducted in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, tonight at 8:30.
A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Thursday at noon. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
