Virginian Pilot Wednesday December 27,1899


Mrs. Parthenia Ann McAlister departed this life at the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. M.J. Fulgham, No. 154 Duke street, Sunday, after a lingering 
illness, aged 74 years. The funeral was solemnized from Epworth M.E. Church at 
11 o'clock yesterday morning, the pastor, Rev. A. Coke Smith, D.D., 
officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
