Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 31, 1994

Frances Casey McAlpine, 72, a homemaker, died Jan. 29, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. McAlpine was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of James A. McAlpine Sr., 
and a member of 60 Plus of Ocean View.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frances Bergman and Carolyn Kane, both of 
Virginia Beach; three sons, James A. McAlpine Jr. of Virginia Beach, Robert 
McAlpine of Chesapeake and Ed McAlpine of Norfolk; a sister, Elsie Hall of 
Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by her son, Charles W. McAlpine.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery 
by the Rev. Joseph French. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. 
today at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel.
