This was Mrs. Margaret McCarrick, the widow of Captain P. McCarrick, who for a long number of years was connected with the Old Dominion Steamship Company, being the commodore of its river fleet at the time of his death. Mrs. McCarrick was one of the most estimable of ladies and her death will be deeply lamented by a large circle of friends. She was the mother of Captain James W. McCarrick and of several daughters. The deceased lady was in the eighty-first year of her age and although having been in feeble health for some time, she bore it with that Christian fortitude which marked her life. The funeral will take place from the Church of the Sacred Heart on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. *************************************************************************** McCARRlCK - At the residence, No. 293 Bute street, Wednesday, May 30th, 1900, at 11:30 o’clock a.m., Mrs. MARGARET McCARRICK, widow of the late Captain Patrick McCarrick, in the 81st year of her age.
