NORFOLK - George C. McCarrick, Sr., 67, of 231 Ethel Ave., husband of Mrs. 
Charlotte B. McCarrick and son of James A. and Mrs. Mary Margaret McCarrick, died 
at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. McCarrick, retired credit manager for the Hampton Roads Paper Co., was a 
native of Florida, but had lived here most of his life.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Bonniwell and 
Mrs. Beatrice Clark, Norfolk; a son, George C. McCarrick, Jr., of Norfolk; two 
brothers, James McCarrick of New Orleans and Joseph McCarrick, of New York; two 
sisters, Mrs. Helen Griggs, and Sister Mary Regina Joseph, both of Atlanta; and 
eight grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for a funeral service today at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
