Virginian-Pilot  April 2, 1920
Margaret I. McCarthy, 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. McCarthy, died at 
the residence, 740 Duke street yesterday. The funeral will take place at the 
funeral apartments of H. D. Oliver, 610-12 East Freemason street, this afternoon 
at 3 o’clock, Rev. R. E. Hannan, of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, officiating.

Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the date of death on her death certificate and in 
the newspaper obituary.
