Fantone, 323 West Twenty-seventh street last night at 10:45 o’clock. Mr. McCarthy was a native of Baltimore and a resident of Norfolk for the past 37 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and B. M. & P. I. U. of America. Mr. McCarthy is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Claude V. Fantone, of Norfolk; one son, James N. McCarthy, of Arlington; a brother, M. J. McCarthy, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cooney, and Mrs. George O. Bean, both of Norfolk; three grandchildren, the Misses Carmel, Eileen and Regina Fantone, all of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Thomas Francis McCarthy - Funeral services for Mr. McCarthy, who died Friday night at the residence of his son-in-law, Claude V. Fantone, 323 West Thirty- seventh street, will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
