Virginian-Pilot  December 1, 1935
William McCauley, aged 74, son of John and Bridget Kennedy McCauley, died at his 
residence, 618 First View street, Ocean View, yesterday afternoon at 12:15 
o’clock. Mr. McCauley was a native of Pennsylvania and a resident of Norfolk for 
the past 60 years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Seibel, of Ocean 
View, and Mrs. Annie Cannon, of Washington, D.C., and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, Tuesday 
morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
