The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 18, 1942
Mrs. Sallie F. McClannan, aged 83, died suddenly Tuesday morning at 7:15 
o'clock at her residence, 813 East Twenty-fifth street.  Mrs. McClannan was the 
widow of R.B. McClannan and the daughter of the late William and Mrs. Bettie 
Sineca. She was formally of Princess Anne County and a resident of Norfolk for 
the past 60 years.  Mrs. McClannan was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle.  She 
is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to the funeral home of Paul B. Warren & Son, 1102 Colonial 
avenue, where funeral services will take place Thursday afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock.  Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
