The Virginian-Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark, Friday, June 11, 1920

Alice J. Williams McClannan, wife of Q. B. McClannan, died yesterday at her 
residence at 749 East Twenty-Fifth Street. She was 53 years of age.
She is survived by her husband, five daughters: Mrs. L. T. Sykes, Mrs. J. A. 
Gates, and Misses Lettie L., Blanche and Ruby McClannan; three sons, Reese L, 
Oscar Y and Harry A. McClannan; sister, Mrs. C. W. Goodwin, two brothers, E. G. 
and L. G. Williams, all of Norfolk.
The funeral will be Saturday at the residence, conducted by Rev. L. E. Smith. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
