Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie McClease, 31, 714 Burrus street, who died in 
a local hospital December 19, were held at Hale’s Chapel December 29. Born in 
Edenton NC, she had lived here seven years. Surviving are a number of 
relatives. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
