Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, February 2, 1998 
Naomi McCleese of the 100 block of Pittman St. died Jan. 27, 1998, in Providence.

Born in Drumhill, N.C., she was a former resident of Sandy Street, Norfolk. She
was the widow of Clinton McCleese Sr. and she was a member of First Calvary
Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include two daughters, Doretha M. Allen of Norfolk, Isabell Baker of
Providence; a son, Clinton McCleese Jr. of Delaware; a sister, Thelma Savage of
Drumhill, N.C.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in First Calvary Baptist Church by
Dr. Johnnie L. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is
in charge. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. today. The family
will receive friends at 3357 Sandy St. and also assemble there at 10 a.m. today.
