(DeHart) McClennan, aged 57 years, husband of Mrs. Mary Byrd McClennan and son of the late John and Mrs. Virginia Hitchings McClennan, died yesterday morning at 8:30 o’clock at a local hospital. Mr. McClennan, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, resided at 1595 Kingston avenue, Ocean View. He was employed at the Norfolk Navy Yard. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary Byrd McClen- nan, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eugene G. Cooke; three sons, Charles T., Archie L., Jr., and Norwood H. McClennan; three sisters, Mrs. George Cahoon, Mrs. Edward Yates and Mrs. Elizabeth Conrad; four brothers, W. T. Hitchings, N. H. Hitchings, A. Hitchings and Edward Hitchings, and seven grandchildren. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow night at 7:30 o’clock.
