The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 2, 1934
Eugene W. McCloud, aged 82, died last night at 10 o'clock at his residence, 
707 Main street, Berkley, after a long illness. He was the son of the late 
J.B. and Mrs. Elizabeth Williamson McCloud.
Mr. McCloud was a member of Elizabeth Camp No. 3, Woodmen of the World, and 
of Thomas Jefferson Council No. 16, Order Fraternal Americans. He is 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Tatem, of Sacramento, Cal., and Mrs. 
A.W. Hessley, Sr., of Norfolk; two sons, Harry and Samuel McCloud, of New 
York, and seven grandchildren.
The body was removed to the funeral home of J.R. Williams, 1027 Chesapeake 
avenue, South Norfolk. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
