American Beacon Tuesday Jan 6 1835

Mc.Coll, Hugh. Died yesterday morning after a short illness (occassioned by 
wounds, and bruises caused by being dragged through the streets by a young 
filly running away, while leading her to water, to which he had so securely 
bound his wrist that he was unable to extricate himself.). Mr. Hugh McColl a 
native of Scotland, but for the last four or five years, a grocer of this 
borough, aged about 50 years. His friends and acquaintances are requested to 
attend his funeral from his late residence on Union St., this afternoon at 5 
o'clock.
