NORFOLK - Charles V. McCourt, 86, of 127 Executive Drive, retired from the Public 
Health Department and a native of Norfolk, died Sunday in a hospital.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Third Order of St. Francis, 
and honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson Woodsend, and a brother, the 
Rev. Francis J. McCourt, both of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held 
tonight at 7 in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
