Susan R. McCowan, aged 67 years, died yesterday morning at 7:40 o'clock, at E
Eastern Shore, Va. She had been a resident of Norfolk for 20 years prior to her i
illness.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas McCowan; two daughters, Mrs. H. K. 
Anderson, of Crittenden, Va., and Mrs. J. D. Roberts, of Norfolk; one son, H. 
G. Parker of Steubenville, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. F. T. Moore and Mrs. T. M. 
Roberts, of this city; one grandchild, Miss May Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock. Rev. A. L. Franklin, pastor of the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church, 
will officiate. Interment will be made in Elmwood Cemetery.
