Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 12, 1940

Albert Leonce McCoy, aged 59, husband of Mrs. Mary Ryan McCoy, a native of 
Canada and a resident of Norfolk for the past 22 years, died at a local hospital 
Wednesday after a long illness. Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, 
Mrs. Stella Coxford, of Quebec. The body was removed to the Ewell & Williamson 
Funeral Home, Thirty-fifth Street at Colonial Avenue, pending funeral 
arrangements.

Albert Leonce McCoy – The body of Mr. McCoy, husband of Mrs. Mary Ryan McCoy, 
who died Wednesday, will be taken from the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, 
Thirty-fifth street at Colonial avenue, to St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery for 
funeral services at the grave tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock, the Rev. F. V. 
Bambrick, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiating.
