Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, July 29, 1992 
Corrine G. McCoy of the 2800 block of Villa Circle, died July 28, 1992, in a
hospital.

Mrs. McCoy was born in Norfolk. She was employed in the housekeeping department
of NationsBank for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bute
Street and United Order of Tents 1. She was the widow of Wilford McCoy Sr.

Survivors include three daughters, Novella M. Young of Miami, Patricia A. McCoy
of Baltimore and Barbara M. Ligon of Richmond, Calif.; two sons, Wilford McCoy
Jr. and Aubrey G. McCoy Sr., and two sisters, Julia Johnson and Daisy A. Smith,
all of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church Bute
Street by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Home. The
body will be placed in church at 9 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at
the residence.
