Virginian Pilot October 25, 1911

Mrs. Clara J. McCoy, mother of R.A. McCoy, died yesterday morning at 12:30 
o'clock at the family residence 309 Berkley avenue, aged 65 years.
The deceased was found in her room Monday morning in an unconscious condition, 
suffering from heart trouble and never regained consciousness.  She was the 
widow of James A. McCoy and a native of Pensacola, Fla., but had been a resident 
of Berkley ward thirty-four years.
She is survived by five sons, Messrs. Russell A., Frank A., Arthur G., Henry F. 
and Clarence J. McCoy, all of Berkley.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from St. Thomas' 
Church and will be conducted by the rector, Rev. E.W. Cowling.  The remains will 
be laid to rest in Magnolia cemetery, Berkley.
