Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, March 3, 1998 
Minnie McCoy, of the 2400 block of Seaboard Road, died Feb. 28, 1998, in a local
nursing home.

Born in North Carolina, she was the widow of William L. McCoy. Mrs. McCoy was
employed with the housekeeping department of the Virginia Beach Public School
System.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Evans, and his wife, Marie, of Virginia
Beach; a sister-in-law, Ethel Evans; 11 nieces and nine nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in the chapel of Hale Funeral Home
by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
