Norfolk - Edward McCoy of 1305 Outten street, who died in a local hospital Oct. 
8, received final rites Saturday at First Baptist Church, Bute Street.

The Rev. E. Paul Simms officiated at the service. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mr. McCoy retired from the Navy Public Works Center after 20 years of service. 
He was a Norfolk native and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie McCoy; two brothers, William McCoy Sr. of 
Norfolk and Ernest A. McCoy Sr. of Greensboro, NC; an uncle, Walter Paige of 
Norfolk; three nieces and three nephews.
