NORFOLK - Addie McCray, of 831 Hayes St., a native of Nansemond County and the widow
of Walter McCray, died Saturday in a hospital.

Mrs. McCray was a member of the Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Louise Hunter and Lola Spivey, both of Norfolk;
three sons, Walter McCray of Columbus, Ga., Charlie McCray of Elizabeth City, and
William McCray of Baltimore, Md.; 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five
great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Queen Street Baptist church by the Rev.
J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is in
charge of the arrangements.
