Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 13, 1920

Preston Montgomery McCullough, age 62 years, died yesterday afternoon at 1 
o'clock at the family residence, 31 Jackson street, South Norfolk, after an 
illness of eight years.  He was a native of Washington, N.C., but had lived 
in this section twenty years. He was a son of the late Montgomery and Mrs. 
Ella McCullough of North Carolina and is survived by the following children: 
Mrs. J.R. Ballree, Norfolk; Mrs. C.B. Briggs, Clayton McCullough, James 
McCullough, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral services will be conducted in the apartments of E. Lee Cox, in 
Berkley avenue, by Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South Norfolk 
Christian Church, this afternoon at 4 o'clock, and burial will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
