Born in Norfolk, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. The widow of Robert Lee McEachin, she is survived by five daughters, Julia McEachin, Sandra Appling, Mildred Norman, Dorothea McEachin, all of Norfolk, and Nancy Briggs of Richmond; three sons, Robert McEachin Jr. and David McEachin, both of Norfolk, and Edwin McEachin of Richmond; two stepbrothers, Maurice Jackson of Norfolk and Robert Jackson of Chesapeake; 29 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. E. Ray Rouson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains will be ready for viewing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The remains will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Thursday. The family will gather at 3188 Kimball Terrace at noon for the procession.
