Dorothy Lee ``Sister'' Brickhouse McEachin of the 1200 block of Bunsen Court
died Feb. 19, 1999, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.

The widow of Robert Lee McEachin, she is survived by five daughters, Julia
McEachin, Sandra Appling, Mildred Norman, Dorothea McEachin, all of Norfolk, and
Nancy Briggs of Richmond; three sons, Robert McEachin Jr. and David McEachin,
both of Norfolk, and Edwin McEachin of Richmond; two stepbrothers, Maurice
Jackson of Norfolk and Robert Jackson of Chesapeake; 29 grandchildren; 7
great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church
by the Rev. E. Ray Rouson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains will
be ready for viewing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The remains will be taken to the
church at 11 a.m. Thursday. The family will gather at 3188 Kimball Terrace at
noon for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in
charge.
