Mrs. Ada McElroy of 1314 Godfrey avenue was buried Sunday in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery, following last rites at Zion Light Baptist Church, Oakwood, where 
she held membership.

Mrs. McElroy, 30, died June 1 in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

A native of Gates, NC, she had lived in Norfolk 25 years.

Surviving are her husband, Edward McElroy, daughter, Mrs. Mary Lassiter; and 
two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Mitchell and Mrs. Bessie Welch, all of Norfolk.

Citizens Funeral Home handled arrangements.
