Public Ledger  September 22, 1899
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret McEween, aged 70 years, took place from St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church this morning at 9 o’clock, and was attended by relatives and 
friends. Requiem mass was said, with Rev. Father Frioli as celebrant. After the 
mass, Father Frloli made a few touching eulogistic remarks. The following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. J. T. Holland, Patrick Scullion, James McDermin, George 
Proescher, Patrick Hart and David F. Donovan. The interment was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
