The Virginian Pilot Monday February 24, 1969
Alan Warne McGann, 70, of 6101 Sylvan St. died in a hospital Saturday at 
8:05 p.m.
A native of New Brunswick, N.J., he lived here 47 years.
He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and a sales representative 
of Newton Manufacturing Co.
He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Lancaster McGann and a son of Edward Webb 
and Mrs. Sarah Warne McGann.
Surviving, other than his widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Edward S. Fox Jr. of 
Dover, Del.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home Tuesday at 11:30 
a.m. by the Rev. Roger Snyder of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
