McGee, aged 78 years, widow of the Rev. William McGee, one of the best known ministers of the Methodist conference, died yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock at her home, 108 Pine Street, after a lingering illness. She is survived by one son, S.L. Spratley and two step sons, John T. and A.N. Spratley, of this section. She is a daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Louise Ruffin of Surry County, Va., but had been a resident of Berkley 42 years where she was one of the best known ladies. Mrs. McGee was a member of Memorial Methodist Church and one of the most active and consistent workers. The funeral services will be conducted in Memorial Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. E.T. Dadmun, pastor of the Memorial Church, assisted by one or more of the Methodist clergy, will conduct the service.
