The Virginian-Pilot, September 11, 1978

NORFOLK – Mrs. Mildred McGhee of 899 Washington St., a native of Norfolk and the 
widow of Olden McGhee, died Sunday in her home.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and employed as a domestic.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Carter of Columbia, Md., and Ms. 
Gloria McGhee of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert McGhee of Norfolk; two sisters, 
Mrs. Virginia Hart of Norfolk and Mrs. Elizabeth Adams of Washington, D.C.; two 
brothers, Thomas H. Otey of Norfolk and Frank Otey of New York; and five 
grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at Graves Funer home. The family will be at her home.
