Funeral services for Mrs. Annie B. McGlone were held Sunday, Apr. 19 at 2 p.m. 
from the New Hope Christian church.

Mrs. McGlone, of 622 Quail street, South Norfolk, died Friday, April 17 at 2 
a.m. in a local hospital after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stanton Barnes and the widow of 
Virgie R. McGlone.  A native of Norfolk county, she had lived in Norfolk for 
more than 30 years.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist church, Berkley.

Surviving are three sons, Samuel McGlone of New York;  Christopher McGlone of 
Richmond, VA;  and Clarence McGlone of Norfolk;  one brother, George S. Barnes 
of Newport News and three grandsons.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pretlow’s funeral home in charge.
