Besides his wife he leaves four daughters. Mrs. G.R. Bain, Miss Pearl E., Miss Gertrude V. and Miss Bridget McHorney, all of Norfolk. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence and the interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Captain McHorney was a member of the Red Men, the Odd Fellows and the Eagles. He was captain of the steamer Annie of the People's Line that plies between Norfolk and Elizabeth City, N.C. *********** McHORNEY - At his residence, 609 S. Marshall Avenue, Sunday, December 20, 1914, at 5 p.m., Captain JOHN ELLIS McHORNEY, aged 56 years. The funeral will take place TUESDAY, December 22, at 3 p.m., from the above residence.
