The Virginian Pilot Saturday January 27, 1979
Miss Pearl Elizabeth McHorney, 84, of 7211 Granby St., a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, died Friday in the Mary F. Ballentine Home. 
She was a member of Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Forbes and a nephew, Oscar Ellis 
Forbes, both of Norfolk.
A funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Francis E. Collins. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
