She was a native of Sandbridge and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 57 years. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. G.R. Bain, Mrs. Gertrude Forbes, Miss Pearl E. McHorney and Miss Bridget T. McHorney all of Norfolk and two grandchildren, G. Raleigh Bain, Jr. and Oscar E. Forbes, both of Norfolk. Mrs. McHorney was a member of the Colonial Avenue Methodist Church The body was removed to the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, Thirty-fifth Street at Colonial Avenue pending funeral arrangements.
