McHorney, aged 63, widow of Benjamin F. McHorney, died suddenly at her residence, 1125 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday morning at 3:40 o'clock of a heart attack. She was a native of Camden County, N.C. and been a resident of this section for 30 years. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Mrs. Elizabeth Burgess. Surviving her are two sons, Charles and Raymond Lee McHorney; three sisters, Mrs. W.E. Dowdy, Mrs. John Grandy, of Grandy, N.C. and Mrs. Edward Cain, of South Norfolk; three brothers, Fred, Wiltse and Jesse Burgess, of Old Trap, N.C. and three grandchildren. She was a member of the South Norfolk Church of Christ. The body was removed to the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
